Wonderful spot!!! Flat area where you can camp. Lots of tourist busses stopped but everybody was really friendly
Report Check-InAbandoned bus camp spot in the middle of the Moon valley. There are few toutists who come in 4WD for sunset and sunrise but otherwise it's very quiet and the view is amazing.
Report Check-InWe spent two amazing nights here. A local man who owns a hotel in SP came by with his family. We asked if he knew if it was ok for us to camp there and he said ‘of course’ but also asked us to just not leave any trash. There is a gate a few km back but it was open while we were there.
Report Check-Inreally good! all alone in the vally. amazing view.
we went threw the southern road around coyo- only high clearance 4*4 .
Very bumpy road, but no problem with our 2WD. The road description is correct. The gas pipeline are the yellow poles near the road. As soon as you get to n° 157 you have arrived. There is plenty of space to park your vehicle.
During the afternoon it is REALLY windy, but as soon as the sun goes down, the wind disappears.
Do not miss sunset! -We walked uphill (left hand side coming from road B241) to enjoy the amazing landscapes surrounding us.
Beatifull location, bumpy road, be there before sunset, because It is beatifull. I loved this place

Report Check-InVery beautyfull spot on the back of the valley of the moon. Beautyfull landscape with view on the valley and the mountains (Licancabur).
To reach the point, take the road B241 during 7km (coming from San Pedro) and then turn left, after a while, follow the gaspipeline.
