Stayed here for 2 nights. Very busy with fisherman till evening. A few cars pulled in thru the night but no one bothered us! Multiple Border patrol cars hung out in the parking lot but didn’t say anything to us. You will definitely hear boat horns, but we are heavy sleepers and it didn’t bother us.

Stayed last night without any problems - a couple loud boat horns over night. Then I believe the ferry started back up around 5:30 and there were horns every 15 minutes or so. Soo if you’re a light sleeper or want to sleep in, I wouldn’t recommend it. But the view of the river was worth the noise for me.

Beautiful spot. No problems and quiet!!

I spent a quiet, comfortable night here. The freighters sound their horns as they pass, which is pretty marvelous to see, but I didn’t notice them in the night. Was chilly and windy at the end of july—a perfect night’s sleep. Very flat, and good T-Mobile service.

great place to spend a night or two. I stayed one night with no problem

Great relaxing spot for an overnight! Restroom is at Fish Cleaning Station; although, there was no sign on the door. 2 covered picnic shelters in the large grassy area.

Gravel lot, porta potties, nice grassy area to walk dogs. there is a no parking overnight sign but it is for the grassy area, not the lot. two other vans in the lot with us last night. quiet aside from the occasional barge horn which didn't bother me. nice view of Canada from here.

Great overnight camping spot - there is a dump/fill next door at the RV park for $5 if you need it. There are also restrooms at this location for free. The view is beautiful. We stayed for two nights with no issues.

The one downside is that the early morning fishermen come to load their boats in the water and it’s rather loud. I’m an early riser so it didn’t quite bother me but it’s something to look out for. Otherwise would definitely recommend this spot.

Super close to downtown, you can walk/bike in, gorgeous big field for your dogs, and you can paddle board/kayak off the boat ramp.

Great free overnight parking lot on the water looking across from Canada. Only downside is the big barges coming through will sound their horns so you will have an early wake up call.

Haven't tried this one yet but huge parking lot is old hospital site down at waterfront... Extremely windy but oh what a view.

Report Check-In

Free overnight parking, but would only stay in a Class B or smaller. This is a picnic area and parking for the boat ramp, but it adjourns a campground. Beautiful spot to watch freighters.
