Description

*Seasonal Closures.

Nice Prov. Park on the bank of Meziadin Lake. Some spots right on the lake and others stack up the hillside away from the lake so most sites still have a good view over the lake. Almost all the sites are gravel pads, but a couple are grass. Campground is kept up well. Large firewood bundles can be bought for $8 and dropped off at your site. Pit toilets are scattered around the campgrounds. nice picnic tables and firepits at all sites. $22 dollars per site. We had two motorcycles and two tents and stayed on one site, campground host didn't have any issue with it. idk if there is a max # of ppl per site.

great campground it's quite busy eventhough it's a Tuesday.

clean toilets and water available to fill

Nice place. Very busy with mostly RV’s. A bit pricey for my taste but the site was clean, level and sunny.

Very nice campground. Paid CAD22 for a spot. They also have spots with power for CAD28.

Report Check-In

Very nice campground with a beautiful view. I paid CAD22 for a waterfront site.

take the detour to Stewart if you have the time, the drive is absolutely stunning! super small town vibes of an old popular mining city

Like others have said. It is a nice campground well kept, clean and reasonably priced. The fire bundle is now $10- I did not get any but saw some others get it and it is a huge bundle-almost double what you would get in store. Tent sites are $22. Clean pit toilets. Potable water. Level sites!

Report Check-In

Clean and well-run campsite, but too much like an RV park with everyone crowded on top of each other. Almost full. Cooked some food in the day use area but didn’t stay.

We did two nights here, one the night before heading to Salmon Glacier and one after we got back. We'll maintained site and friendly hosts. Not a lot of privacy, maybe a bit better in a couple of sites up top, but we wanted to be close to the water. We angled our car to block some views. Quite a few mosquitos.

Report Check-In

Great campground, although most of the sites are pretty cramped and the mosquitoes are pretty annoying.

Report Check-In

Clean campground. About 50 sites. paved park road with gravel/grass sites. The lower section is by the lake and a little less private. The upper section has more privacy but limited views of the lake.

Stayed 2 nights. Yes a beautiful park. Grizzly bears are very active morning and evening; they seem to have a route for foraging through several campsites , shoreline and pit toilets near us . We are at water site #43. My husband had to run from shore to camper as one was heading to him at a run ! No morning shoreline fishing this trip. I wouldn’t say family friendly due to bears at this time of year.

Endroit agréable avec belle vue sur le lac et les montagnes. Proche de l'eau ou en hauteur, qu'importe le spot de camping, c'est superbe. Une personne vient cueillir l'argent pour la nuit (22$).

Not a lot to add here other than this is a very nice provincial park campground. The nice spots are all not just by the lake. We stayed in the very upper level and had a nice view across to the ridge on the other side of the lake. We would recommend this as a campground to stay at. Beware there is no cell coverage on the entire 475 miles of Cassiar highway but there was Internet you could purchase in this park for nine dollars a day or they would give you 15 minutes for free to send a few text messages.

Beautiful lake views. Electric hook ups at site but water you have to walk to. $27/night for electric. Bugs are pretty bad.

Report Check-In

Very beautiful place but it might depend on the site you get! Some of the sites are quite crowded as noted by previous Users. We were lucky enough to get Site #46. $27 including electricity. Right on the lakeshore. four grizzly bears came into the campground (Mom and 3 cubs) so take the bear advice seriously! There is no dump station at this campground but a few minutes further north, you can stop at the Petro Canada for a dump. We stayed 2 nights.

lovely serene lake nice camphosts. seasonal

electric running water beautiful views of the lake

Very well maintained park. Spots are a little tight but beautiful location on the lake. Park staff were very friendly and helpful. $22 well worth the price with potable water available.

There are some walk up sites, the camp host/official said to pick one right near them, as long as I’m not in the road. Very friendly. Still $22/night. I’m in a class A with a tow. There was a spot next to me with another older class A and one of those Army/garbage truck looking vehicles. Beautiful lake and swimming. Lots of SUP, kayaks, power boats etc. there are a few power sites, otherwise it’s dry camping. There are several pit toilets and a central water spigot.

From all campgrounds we stayed this was the worst one! Looks like a big rig RV gravel park with all the reservations needed way in advance to get a nice place. There is a Recreation Camp side further down which is for free and 1000 times nicer than this! Park rangers are also unfriendly and in general the vibe at this campspot is bad!
