Basic campground. Across the road is a nice white sand beach next to the cold Colorado River. Great place to cool off in the high temp in this area. Can get quite windy.

Latest Check-Ins

This is our second time here. They're adding another bathroom which will help the massive crowds here. the potable water and dump is at a different location further up the canyon. If it's windy, don't stay here. it was an awful night. The rig was thrown this way and that way. the camp is on a high windswept hill . Do go further and take the hikes by the orchard and out of the launch ramp. there's kayak rentals now at the end of the road.

Nice campground with fantastic views of the red rock and Colorado River. $20 or $10 with a geezer in pass!

Report Check-In

Beautiful setting amid big red rock by the Colorado River. There is a nice footpath to the river which is 1/3 mile. It can get windy, but they had 3 wind walls by our site. We didn’t need them, because it was calm. Covered picnic tables and nice fire pit/rings.

Report Check-In

Nice CG, all flush toilets working. Nice location for paddling up the Colorado River, trails nearby.
Dump station and fresh water refill for RV/camper available, the main reason we stayed here. Enjoyed the scenery.
$20 or $10 with senior access pass.

Update on bathrooms: one closest to river is out of service again and the upper men’s room had flushing issues they say are waiting on parts. Nice place for a couple of days and an easy up and over to Page and Horseshoe Bend.

Great campground. $20/night. Bathrooms are open with flush toilets. Shade/wind shelters. Potable water fill up. Close access to the beach and the trailhead (about a mile down). Definitely checkout the Lonely Dell Ranch too, there’s quite an impressive orchard where you can pick fruit. Wind can pick up pretty quick and be pretty wild so tie down your stuff if you’re heading out for the day. 2 bars Verizon where I was camped. Very busy this time of year aim to arrive midday to snag a spot.

stayed here because of rain and not wanting to get stuck in the mud at one of the boondocking spots down the road. pretty decent campground with fantastic views of the red cliffs and the Colorado River. $20 is probably a bit steep imo, but worth it for me to not worrying about getting stuck in the mud or having to wait days at the end of some road waiting for it to dry out.

Report Check-In

As described. The bathrooms closest to the river are currently closed. Other building is open. 3 bars LTE AT&T. Lovely to hear the river out the window. Nice little shelters on some of the picnic tables. $20, only about 4 other sites occupied.

Basic campground but very great place to check out Glen Canyon. Every morning I had a swimm in the Colorado river. It can be very very windy here so be sure to secure your camp. Lots of free spots even at the weekend. Bring your own boat and paddle up from Lees ferry to Horse Shoe bend and save 100 bucks pp for doing the kayaking with a tour. Lots of hiking possibilities too.

Report Check-In

Great place, 20 dollars a night. Dump station is down the road by the rangers residence. No water at the dump station but you can get water at the boat ramp parking lot beside the washrooms.

We enjoyed this place. Beautiful canyon and easy access to the river. It was quite hot and didn’t cool down until very early in the morning.
Very basic campground but we will be back.

Report Check-In

As described. Great little walks from camp. Has a scullery in between the rest rooms. Nice central location. Yup a bit cramped. It's very cold now. No ATT or TMobile. Has Verizon and Cellular One.

Report Check-In

Great spot for hiking. No services but clean flush toilets. No ATT signal and the gas station at the entrance does not do diesel. Nearest diesel is 25 km away at Cliff Dwellers store.

Its a great place! Shade and pic Nic table

Report Check-In

Campground in the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area with flush toilets, some sites with picnic tables and shade. Nice setting but the sites are not very big and if the campground is full and there are kids around it is getting a bit noisy in the evening.
