Latest Check-Ins

This location is BROOKINGS Fred Meyer, not Portland. Just had a very nice police officer wake us up to tell us that Brookings has a No Camping ordinance so, no sleeping in Fred Meyer parking lot. He said there is a rest stop a mile and a half up the road.

Report Check-In

Easy peasy! Good quiet spot with several other here as well. Open at 6 for shopping for a quick breakfast too!

Report Check-In

As above- couldn’t t wifi tho. Brookings is our new fav little town simply because in the hour we were outside the van cooking dinner and eating we met about 8 different crazy characters that ought to be written about in great novels.

Report Check-In

Signs all over saying parking only while shopping

Report Check-In

Easy overnight parking on garden center side. Several other travelers doing the same and not bothered at all. I felt safe being in a well lit lot. I was not able to get any WiFi as some folks have mentioned.

Report Check-In

Slept there over night in my car, no issues. Can get the WiFi if parked by the garden center.

Changed my oil at Valvoline in front for $40, job done in less than 10 minutes. open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday.

Report Check-In

No signs and we parked across from the garden area with our westfalia popped. no issues and Wi-Fi and washrooms in store.

Report Check-In

parked the other side of highway from Meyer, empty building with sign for RV parking, in front of Fire Dept. there is an oil change place in front of Fred Meyer too which was very good. Noisy at times but convenient for a night. WiFi, bathroom in supermarket

Report Check-In

Asked the employees inside and nobody knew if it was possible to park overnight but they said at Ray's just in front it's for sure it's OK. That's what we did and got no prob. There is a sign for RV parking and it's a closed down shopping mal' kinda.

Report Check-In

Portland Fred Meyer: Park away from the recycling centre closer to the garden area.
