Cheetah farm Closed until February for the summer

Cheetas!!!

You can pet them. It's really cool. It's a bit unnerving when they lick you though.

Going to feed the wild ones is also interesting. Clear behaviour difference between the house and wild ones.

The owners are fantastic. Friendly and answered our questions.

The campsite is really nice, away from everything. No signal. Amazing night sky.

Absolutely incredible experience, a must do in Namibia.

Report Check-In

Very nice and rustic Bushcamp with solar heated showers, toilets, brai stands and a refreshing pool. Quiet, remote, no MTC-Signal. Many birds around. The 2 hour Cheetah-tour was fine, nothing to complain about. Actual there are 2 hand raised Cheetahs at the farm. You can get very close and touch them. On the yard are 3 "wild" cheetahs, that have a totally different behaviour - absolutely no house-cats.

We were the only guests and had a great experience.
the 400 D are well worth it with the cheetah tour.
highly recommended

Report Check-In

now, it is 400/pp for the visit and one night campsite.

Report Check-In

Nice caming place with wide units. drinkable water, shower, toilets, braai area and shelter at every unit. Basic but clean.
A very beautifull pool to enjoy too.
Very quiet (we were the only customer)
Cheetah tour only once a day, at 4PM. Last 1h, you start by peting the home-cheetahs, then you go in the reserve to feed them ;)
Unfortunately, our guide was not much talkative, and definitly not enthusiastic ...
Fee is now 375 $NAD pp, 200$NAD for kids, price including 1 night at the camping.
Note that no entry before 16PM, and exit hour is 10AM.

Ok campsite with running water, toilets and nice pool, sites are quite close to each other so not much privacy but ok for a night. Most people come to see the cheetahs which is sad actually as this has nothing to do with conservation. Three are domesticated and kept as pets at the house and 9 others are kept in 1 enclosure which is visibly not right. The cheetahs fight and are full of scars as in nature they would never stay together like this. Nor be fed every day to make good pictures for tourists. If you just want a cool picture this is the place but don’t think you are doing any of these cheetahs a favor as they are exploited to make money, thats it. I have been working with cheetah conservation for 12 years in South Africa and believe I have an informed view and knowledge about this so therefore I share it with you, you decide... Camping and tour was N$375 together while day visitors paid N$400 per person.
