Report Check-InReally good place to stay! Lot of people on the side of the lake (during the day, especially on the we), but all alone if you go in the shade of the trees in the back, some pit fire there. Almost no one at night, very quiet.
Report Check-InBeautiful place to put a tent. The only downside is humidity, but otherwise perfect: water source, lake to swim in, fireplace, no light pollution and a lot of greenery and birds. We even witnessed the birth of a calf.
Report Check-InPlenty of room to park, road is good to drive to lake shore. Lake is high this time of year so more lake a flooded pasture than true lake shore but beautiful and quiet.
Report Check-InWide space to park at the end of the lake, nice view and access to the lake. Cows and horses used the land but plenty of space to camp or park a van or car.
Report Check-Inas a local I visit this place twice a year an I can recommend it to all Campers and Bikecampers. there is a lot of places to stay, quite and nice. good for swimming and relaxing right beside the lake.
Report Check-InThis was the only spot we found all day that wasn’t completely full with people (high season) There is lots of places to set up right on the lake. You can cross some streams to get further down the lake as well, no problem with our motorcycle. Only down side is there is no shade.
Report Check-InWe were here on New Years weekend and there were hardly any people! Super quiet and tranquilo. Very clean as well. Just so you know though, there is NO view of the volcano at this spot. Still beautiful views though.
