Still free ;) . there is also a paid camping just next to the free one .

No longer a free spot. Some smart guys have hijacked the site and now ask 250 pesos pp. No amenities.
What a shame.

⚔️o camping e o lugar são lindos. mas fomos furtados aí, entraram na Kombi e levaram todo nosso dinheiro, o guardaparque falou que é comum isso acontecer 😱
We were robbed here, someone got into our car and took all of our money, the ranger Said that is Common.

Nice free camping spot. private spots in trees.accesible on foot or bigger area for cars. Right on the lake. No toilets or showers.

Report Check-In

The access road has been restored. (We know, because we checked this place out in December.)

Camping here is no longer free (maybe just during the high season). The price is 180 ARS per person (excluding the 350 per person for the entrance fee). Went to the second entrance just north of here: get back on the road, pass the toll booth (where people have to pay the park fee) and take the first path on your left.

It's still called the same (Puesto Canero), but it's specifically for motorhomes. Access to the bathrooms 150 meters over a path in the forest.

Road down to the lake has been washed away. Car blocking path as warning. Very muddy still even after a few dry days.

Very nice camping. Some sites direct at the lake. Off season so no entry fee for the park. (Season december till easter). Toilets at info center are open. We had the place for our own. Free!!

Report Check-In

Very nice place. There is even a separate place for motorhomes and lager rigs about 100 m north of the campground sign. A very friendly ranger showed us. We had all of this place for us with the lovely lake just in front of our door and the incredible stars in the night. Toilets were already closed for autumn/winter.

Sites are great. Free campsite just below the information center and at the lake. Toilets, water and garbage.

my favorit of all campgrounds. The most quiet und the cleanest one!

Park Los Arleces has 3 options of campgrounds: "organizado" (payed), "agreste" (payed with less amenities) and "libre" (free and no amenities). The "libre" are so full in 10th december. This campground - Puerto Canero" (before the entrance north) - is better for big rigs. It's nice, by the Rivadavia Lake. Fee (250 pp adult and 60 p 6-12 years old) is expensive for only entrance (no amenities in campiground) the park with aprox 50km.

A very tight squeeze for the Land Rover and Caravan! Height under trees is the issue.

Another stunning lakeside spot! Like the other free camps we stayed at in the park, it was clean and quiet. Even in May the water was warm enough for a (quick) swim! No bees when we were there..

Report Check-In

Perfect place for camping and relax. Amazing view to lake. We really enjoyed this spot. Just a lot of bees.

Free campsite just before the entrance of National Park ! Big motorhome can down near the lake. Nice and quiet place.

Beautiful place by the lake. When we were there the campground was close (for maintenance at low season ?), but we stayed in front of the information center in the small parking lot. Very quiet place.
