Coming from Loreto the last 20 km of this Road to San Jose de Comundo are strenous and rocky. High Clearance and 4x4 needed. The rough desert with its fields of boulders is beautiful. From Loreto to San Jose you will need around 5-6 hours, last 42 km is dirt road. In between the heavy and rocky passages there is spaces where you can camp.
Report Check-InTough road! 4x4 with high clearance is a must or dirt / light adv bikes... the first 20kms coming from San Javier are good but then there is a 10 km section that will punish your suspension! Camping in that rough section is difficult due to endless rocks but there are a few places along the way that work in a pinch
