PAY ATTENTION ROBBERY

We went there to picnic. We parked at the parking above the beach now that they blocked the access to cars. There were two other cars and it looked very quiet. We locked all doors and went to eat for about an hour. The parking is hidden by trees but is not far.
When we returned we did not notice anything. There were a few abnormal things in the car but we thought we had misplaced some equipments. We realize someone had entered our car only the next day when we saw there was no more cash in our wallets. We then realized there were many clues someone had used a metal thing to open the door and went around opening cabinets. There were computers and camera lenses and credit cards but they only took the cash. And replaced everything really well. We suspect it was actually people who were fishing in the beach to be responsible. As shortly after we arrived some disappeared and only one stayed. Then the other returned after a while. It feels like they are super organized and take really just the cash so people don’t notice until later ( cause you don’t really need cash in the park)

Report Check-In

área de uso diurno de 8 a 21 prohibido pernoctar.

Report Check-In

This place is permanently closed.

Report Check-In

Going to mark this closed. They’ve blocked off the road and made it pedestrians only. You could sneak a wild camp in but only in the dark and cold parking lot with no views.

Report Check-In

Guarda parque nos avisou que esse é o único ponto FREE para Motorhome. Pode ficar até 2 noites no máximo. Amplo espaço para qualquer Home. Sem luz e água do lago.

Report Check-In

Estaba por dormir cuando guardaparques indican que no puedo que debo trasladarme a la zona de motorhomes (yo viajo y duermo en mi auto)

Report Check-In

since 2 years now, there are not more free campings in the park. it Could change in the future

Report Check-In

it has a no camping and a 8 - 21 o clock only sign now. Maybe still possible in low season

Report Check-In

A lot of sites but most are in the woods and those close to the lake not really suitable for campervans since access is blocked for cars. There are 2-3 parking sites at the lake that can be used but they are not really level.
No problem accessing the site with our Unimog (3.56m high, 2.30 wide, 7.30 length). The last part of the track is a bit bumpy and high clearance is an advantage but locals get there with normal 2WDs and even camping trailers.

Report Check-In

Nice and clean and free camping spot in the wood by the lake. fire pits, lots of wood. a bit windy though. clean water stream. Vehicles will need to stay up the hill a 100m up the lake or by the lake where people come to fish. the nice stop to camp (on you're right while facing the lake) being accessible only walking or biking.

Report Check-In

very nice location, and free camping.
many dead wood and fire pit for campfire.

Report Check-In

increíble lugar !! fácil acceso, hay leña para hacer fogón e instalar las carpas 💥

Report Check-In

drove into the camping spot in our high top sprinter and didnt have any problems. don't really understand the "not vehicle friendly" other than the fact that parking is not by the campfire rings. No facilities, but found level parking in front of the lake. Possibly easier because were here during low season. Its a saturday and only one other car is here for tent camping.

Report Check-In

Vehicle UNfriendly, except for one spot where we could back in up to the barrier and unfold our rooftent over the barrier.

We had a good first night - the trees really protected us from the wind. The second night we 'enjoyed' the music made by our neighbors until 3:00 am.

Report Check-In

Very small place for vehicles. Entrance fees of the park are now 350 ARS/personne.

Report Check-In

Nice free camping.
They are indicating that you can't put your tent allong the lake and that you should put it on a grass ground above with no view. But when you go on this grassy part and then go down to the lake trought the trees, you will find 2 perfect spots for putting a tent just in front of the lake with a perfect view and it's totally allowed.
Great place for fishing.
Not fitting for cars or campvans.

Report Check-In

Not vehicle friendly as already described. Didn't stay.

Report Check-In

very peaceful and pleasant place, protected from the wind, with outstanding views.

Report Check-In

One of free campsite of the park, in the middle of forest (not very windy) A lot of fireplaces in the beach at 50m. Flat and sheldy, with an easy access by car (better by the south).

Report Check-In

We stay just one night, but it was absolutely amazing! Near the lake, quite place. Just nature around us. If you like chill water you can swimming in lake.

Report Check-In

As below - this place is open but not ideal for campervans / those sleeping in vehicles as you can't park by the lake. Didn't stay here - the free camps Punta Mattos and Quebrada del Leon are more vehicle camping friendly and you can camp nearer the lake...

Report Check-In

camping no longer allowed lakeside. camp sites are above as you go in. follow the arrow. did not stay.

Report Check-In

Really nice spots to camp on the lake shore with awesome views. Our dogs were allowed but we had to keep them in our campsite. There are lots of signs in the park and at the entrances that say no dogs allowed, but we saw many other tourists with their dogs here as well. Only facilities are garbage cans.

Report Check-In

I made a note on the road that camping is not allowed anymore at this place.

Report Check-In

Free camping spot down a short track to the lakeshore. Stunning views can park up right on the shore of the lake. Fire Pits but no other facilities. One of about 7 free camping spots in the park.

Report Check-In

Camping directly at the lake. No facilities.
