Private property and the guy no longer wants people camping here. There are watchmen who keep an eye on it and there’s barbed wire blocking beach access. They did say daytime access is ok but not overnight.

This road is a place to camp close the San Jose. We spent a couple nights and found that the locals come and party at sunset for a bit; but it is fun. No dogs. The shore is very nice. Good wifi.

My absolute favorite campsite when spending a week or two in San Jose. Easy access to town but dead silent and totally beautiful.

Stayed one night; the beach is wonderful and very clean ( we cleaned up a little bit)with big waves but def.not so good for SUP and swimming because there are many rocks; around the parking sites the area is pretty dirty with lots of beer bottles/cans etc.from the locals driving by for a drink,smoke..? we had a very calm and safe night.

Dirt road that runs alongside the beach east of San Jose. Beautiful beaches, tide pools and moon-like rock formations. I’ve spent 2 days and one night here so far, will likely spend many more! Lots of little places to pull off the dirt road and camp. Car friendly, tent friendly, wouldn’t recommend trying to take a motorhome in here but it’s an excellent spot for van dwellers such as myself. No toilets or amenities but it’s probably only 15min outside of San Jose if you really need a proper toilet or shower

Great spot with a tiny fire pit and beautiful views of the beach. 300 meters of rough road but totally doable on 2wd car.
Busy on saturdays nights with people drinking jn cars

Report Check-In

It is a beautiful spot overlooking the ocean. You can spot the occasional whale pod breaching and playing in the distance. Locals come by and chat, they all are very friendly and helpful. We staid 6 nights without any troubles.

spent a night here nobody bothered us. it is right next to the road, which is pretty bad, but doable. very nice view, a few people around during the day but quiet at night. the next spot up the road is nicer as you can get a few more meters away from the road.

just as described. Quite a lot of seperated sites here

Amazing spot. We have been here in the morning, really nice beach. We have seen whales jumping, great. Look safe to spend the night.

Beautiful pull out with view at the sea. Could be busy with locals enjoying the beach and fishing but after 7/8 its quiet. Friendly local guy lives close-by in his trailer says its ok to camp, save. Great sunset and sunrise. Road in is a bit bumby, high clearance recommended ok for 2wd.
