Have stayed here several times to recover after Buses by the Bridge and catch the NFL playoffs at the Pirates Den bar before wandering out to the desert.

We don't need hookups so we always grab one of the spots over by the park/lagoon/pirates den area. It's a little bizarre because this park seems to be split in two with the hookup areas for large RVs to the right of the registration area, some dry camping to the left in the dirt and then the Pirates Den resort past that and THEN the grassy lagoon area. In this spot there are bathrooms, picnic tables, trees, and walking distance to the restaurant and jetski rentals.

We pay $20/night for dry camping. Keep in mind they do charge a flat $20 fee if you have a dog. Not as cheap as staying for free on BLM, but it is the cheapest place to stay on the river.

I will say the last time we camped here we were always the only people in this area, but now that everyone in America has retired and lives in an RV there were 6 other spots taken. Much busier all around the area for sure.

Stayed here for a week in a tent. Paid $110. Doesn’t take reservations but you will always get a spot. It is huge. Lots of dry camping and overflow spaces. Very nice staff and hot showers. Right on the river. Best deal around and if you just need a shower it’s only $2!

We paid USD 27.- for our van with water and electricity. Very close to the river. Absolute friendly staff.
You’ve Wifi in the Wifi-Center and if your spot is close to it, you also have it there.
