Description

Secluded quiet spot in valley. In January it is cool so nice spot with sun. Good views on hill. Historic native Americans site. If summer there is a state campground with shade a few miles up the valley.

Beautiful BLM camping area with no facilities and 1bar of Verizon but the area is gorgeous. Arrive in daylight to get the best spots on very uneven single track dirt roads but if you arrive at sundown or night there are 2 spots right at the entrance: first on the left and opening for parking, the other go straight behind the trees. otherwise follow the single track to the left and go explore! oh the rocks 😍

Very nice spot. Quiet, beautiful mountain views and trees. Cell was poor but Starlink worked ok. Loved the sound of crickets at night. Some nice hiking and campgrounds further down the road.

Like everybody before me said it's a great little Canyon with a lot of flat areas to camp you can camp right up next to the mountain my wife says it's the coolest place we've ever camped.

What a wonderful spot! Chill valley, beautiful rocks, friendly people well spaced out.

I spent the day learning about and experiencing Apache Pass, how could I not end it at Cochise Stronghold?

We love here, 4 quite nights. Great sun and shadow spots. You choose.

14 days limit by NF.
A lot of spaces. Some great some challenging. Road OK. Better if you have high clearance. Good for big rig.
Make sure you have enough water with you.

Beautiful area. Our campsite had the best view.

14 day stay limit. Tons of wildlife. Be careful of bees and rattlesnakes especially if you have dogs. Already have seen deer, a fox, and many bird varieties. No cell service in the official campgrounds. No potable water here.

Great area for Boondocking many spots with fire rings. A lot of firewood in the area.

Beautiful. Don’t go too far down the road if you have an RV. Huge ruts.

Nice level spots among live oak. Fire ring. One bar ATT Lte. Gorgeous little valley. Can see two other campers from here but good spacing for privacy.

Report Check-In

Nice camp sites at start of road. Room for a few there but then the road gets pretty rough if hauling a trailer.
