Latest Check-Ins

We went here on the advice of our hotel owner in Abri, who said it was the best hotel in Dongola and 2000SDP a night because it is government-owned. We went and it was weird vibes. Barbed wire around the complex, with no lights, in an abandoned part of town. Two men in suits in the lobby would not acknowledge us. Finally someone came and demanded 20,000 SDP for a room, non-negotiable. The room looked nice but the price was exorbitant so we left and went to Olla.

Report Check-In

Large government hotel with big parking lot. Room costs 2000 Sudanese pounds per night. Very big and mostly empty not many people staying when we arrived by bicycle but it was a good price and decently clean. The best we found in Dongola and recommended. Fan only and toilet not functioning that well. Main Street with restaurants very close in walking distance.

Report Check-In

as said, not very friendly staff.
they didn't want us to park on their big and empty parking, so we had to take a room. paid 500sp (7$) .
our children actually found the huge swimming pool but the water was SO green they didn't dive in.

No other guests so feels a bit weird. Very basic, not very clean and no A/C (fan only) which when we stayed in June made the night very uncomfortable. Only good thing about it is the secure parking, with a security guard on the gate. NB have to ask for the water to be turned on. Paid 400

Report Check-In

Very strange hotel. We only saw the security guard and an employee. We saw two rooms. We could spend the night for 300 sgp. We didn’t saw the swimmingpool. So we decided to see more hotels and do some shopping.
Then we came back and wanted a room, because here there is a security guard. But then they said it was full. But we didn’t saw anybody and it was 6 o’clock! We wanted to speak the manager but he didn’t awnser his phone. So we decided to go Ethira hotel. We could use the showers and stayed outside the hotel in our own car.

very big hotel but almost empty, for tgat reason no AC in rooms. paid 300 for a double. clean decent room, secure parking.
could not see that swimming pool.
about 1km from the police station where you can do foreign registration

Report Check-In

I don't know what was going on. We arrived at 11 and they didn't let us check in. So we had to look for other options. Asked the rickshaw driver to show us the options.

Report Check-In

We stumbled across this deserted looking hotel at 7pm. At first we thought it was closed but quickly found out it wasn’t.

The hotel is quite modern with fans and aircon! Hot showers and cold showers too! Rooms have a fridge and a place to sit.

Best of all, we paid £300 Sudanese Pounds a night.

Secure parking for any size vehicle and shops and markets within walking distance.

Also there seems to be a pool in the complex but I think you have to jump the fence to use it, which seems to be the norm
