Great spot under palm trees directly on the beach. Every size of rig fits. The beach is beautiful. Sandy, wide, empty. Good for swimming too. Some private homes around. There is one restaurant at Playa Coyote run by a German couple. You will pass it on your way. 200 m from here. Go for a coffee or pasta and use their outdoor-shower.

This place is definetely open! There is a clear street leading to this place. Beautiful spot!!!
Report Check-InI think the property owner has planted a bunch of big aloe plants blocking off the access to the beachfront, so if you were to stay here, it’s be on the road that ends in a grassy dune, no view. There were also two seemingly drunk guys hanging around, so we opted to leave. The San Miguel one down the beach looked much better with shade and a view.
Report Check-InWe loved this place! We were there over the weekend and it was amazingly quiet, with very few people stopping by. So many treasures to find on the beach and the spot amongst the coconut trees is like paradise. On the Monday morning, the police came by but just honked their horn and gave us a friendly wave. Definitely recommend.
Report Check-InBeautiful deserted beach. Fresh coconuts to eat, vongole to dig up. Proper 'blue lagoon' material.. Nice for surf as well, about 4km of beach break. Closer to the river the waves seemed more mellow/closed out less fast.
We stayed a bit further down the beach, there are many beach roads.
We had very annoying sandflies, small enough to go through our mosquitoe net...
I camped under the roofed building which used to be showers I think.Felt safe. Some local men came, cut down cocos, were friendly and gave me one!
Report Check-InBeen to the spot that monkeysontheroad described, amazing spot! No one around and a full view of the beach stretching out both ways.
Report Check-Inbeautiful beach and amazing sunset ! there are many spots along this wide beach. We were alone all night long.
Report Check-InWe actually camped at a different pull out about half way between this spot and the next one north-west up the beach road. Gorgeous sunset over the beach and no one around. Awesome wild camp spot!
