Camping is only allowed at designated campsites. So Bape we used one our way from Xade to Khutse.
It's a beautiful wild place with no facilities.
From Xade to Bape took us almost 6 hours.

Bape 2 is a large campsite (as big as 2 normal private campsites) with a gorgeous view down the valley and multipe big trees for shade. no pit toilet or bucket shower etc. incredibly quiet and alone, a wondering stopover in the heart of the CKGR. Have not seen any (small) game, but we usually don't get very lucky in the center area.
Report Check-In150 km from xade to bape, scaching the car, no pan, no waterhole, no place to stop outside the tracks.
And when you arrive at campsite, it s dirty, fulk of rubishs.
It s like the park, no maintenance, no map or explications a the gate...
