Be very cautious if you pay by cash. I was to pay 7500 TGZ, so I put 3x 2000 tgz, 1x 1000 tgz, 2x 200 tgz, and 1x 100 tgz. The girl took the money, and hid behind the desk (which is very high, so I couldn’t see what she was doing). She counted them, it took very long, then she said, I gave her only 2100 tgz. I was super tired, didn’t want to argue, so I paid. But I was sure, she switched the 3 2000 tgz notes to 200’s.Next day I asked to check security cameras but the picture was so bad, you couldn’t see anything.I’m like 99% sure she stole my money. But I was tired, so can’t say for sure. Just be very careful.

Woman at reception desk (long dark hair) stole 5400 tenge from me. I was to pay 7500 for a night, I put 3x 2000tgz + 1x 1000tgz + 2x 200tgz and 100gtz on the desk. She took the money and immediately hid behind the desk, so I couldn’t see them. She spoke on the phone and did other things for like 5 minutes, then she told me, I paid only 2100 tenge. She simply switched the 2000tgz notes to 200tgz notes.

I was very tired, so I didn’t argue and paid again. Next day I asked to check video from security camera but picture quality was too bad to see anything.

Just be extra careful, take a photo of the cash you give to this woman, and ask for a bill.

Great hotel with spacious rooms, hot water, wifi and restaurant.
We paid 11000 KZT for 2 people per night.
And yes I can confirm that they have a secure parking spot for motorcycles/bikes in the back. That was offered to us free of charge.

Staff is kind but barely speak english.

We paid 8500 for 2 people 24h. Only minus side was internet did not work during the whole time and they started fixing the windows from the outside, including drilling right next to our ears in the morning. Maybe by the time you get here they have stopped renovations...

The hotel is ok. The staff barely speak English. Two people in a double room 8500, one person in a double room 5500. I think they don't have simple rooms. The food in the restaurant is ok but the staff will try to charge you more than due in the check; be smart and remember the prices, also check the total. She did it every time. They have a secure backyard for the motorbikes for free.

great hotel before uzbek border with warm double bedroom, shower, wifi, restaurant and russian banya (for extra fee) for 8500 tenge/2people or 5500 tenge/2people if you check in for 12hours which we did. big parking in front of hotel. Not on booking was a local friend recommendation
