Something not right?

Description

Nice campsite, fully sheltered, with washing machine, hot shower, internet, kitchen gas stove, and wood as well. Very nice and friendly family. 5000pp
Owner said water is potable but the only two people of our eight people group who drank the water had massive problems. That was right after very heavy rainfalls so this might have impacted the water quality. So be careful.

Still a wonderful camping option. I believe it is the cheapest option in Puyahuapi for 5,000 per person. kitchen and great social room/dining room. covered tenting options and a beautiful outdoor area to put up the tents as well
the owner is a lovely and helpful woman who gave us good advice for the area. we travel by bicycle and it was a good place to wait out the rain for a day as well. the wifi works well and you can see sea lions playing in the fjord at sunset. wonderful place.

We wanted to only use showers so they charged 5,000 pp saying we had to pay the full price regardless if sleeping there or not. We ended up having a quick lunch using the gas stove in the kitchen. Hot shower. Good wifi. Maybe it's because we were early in the season but the place looked a little run-down and dirty. Very frugal style. See photos...

We were there for two nights and it was very good. We paid 5000 pp for a place in « dorm », it’s a bit rustic but this is worse. It’s the same price for a tent. The owner was very nice, there is a kitchen, shower every thing !

Report Check-In

Paid 5,000pp, excellent wifi, clean bathrooms, nice roofed location to plant a tent. There are some bunk beds in the location too for the same price. The owner is super nice!

Really cool place, you could set up your tent inside or outside. WiFi is working very well. The kitchen is ok. The place was really clean and the shower was really hot ! 5000 CLP per person.

Tiny spot to park a van or a 4x4. Entrance of the spot was not maintained, so my Toyota Landcruiser did not fit through. Had to go somewhere else.

Report Check-In

I do not agree with the previous comments. This is the most cramped campsite I encountered in Chile. In addition, expect noise till 24:00 from the “food truck” out front.
Showers and toilet were not clean, and have not been maintained well.

Report Check-In

4000 per person, WiFi was very questionable even with no one there. Free laundry though, hard to beat that. Big kitchen area with multiple stoves. She also constantly gives you wood to burn which was great for our really rainy and cold days there. Kinda cramped in front with multiple vans (I think 4 would be max), still a good place.

good spot, lots of Dutch people on site traveling with campers. Met some nice people traveling there. Hot showers, needed some help in the morning to get the heater started but that’s fine. The only person in town accepting my USD!

I totally agree with a previous comment, best camping in town! Violeta will receive you lighting the stove in the kitchen and the other one in the tents' room to dry your stuff if needed. Use of the washing machine is included in the 4000 pesos (5000 pp in high season). WiFi is ok, but going on and off, enough for WhatsApp calls though. the kitchen is kept warm by the wood stove and have 2 gas stoves to cook and dishes. The tents' room is totally protected from rain and wind, it is literally a room. Bathroom is cleaned everyday, warmshowers is working ok, and Violeta is really super nice and helping and caring. An angel for wet and tired cyclists. She bakes bread as well.

This place was great! 4,000pp. Bathrooms were clean, no tp, hot shower. Covered area for tent campers and for vans and other vehicles there is space right in front of the house, space for 2-3 vehicles. There’s a communal area and kitchen. WiFi was good and laundry is included in the price! Which was amazing! Friendly family, felt safe, good location, definitely recommend!

Ok for a night but nothing special. Indoor camping with woodfire stove, small kitchen and common area. Cars will have to park right in front of the entrance gate which is ok. Not as good as other campsites on the Carretera Austral but we checked "La Serena" (next door) as well and found this to be the much better option. Friendly and helpful owners.

we came here because it was raining all day and we had not been able to dry all our clothes the night before. we arived around 1pm and spend the whole afternoon (and night there). as soon as we arrived the nice owner turned on the fire in the room where we put our tent and in the common room next to the kitchen. if you don't anything fancy, you will like this place. we were able to dry our clothes and tent, cook, take a hot shower and spend several hours next to the fireplace in the common room. we paid 4.000$ each and would highly recomend this place to fellow soaking wet travellors.
