Description

CANNOT CAMP HERE DURING WHALE SEASON, MUST PAY FOR ESTABLISHED “campo” CAMPING SPOT.

This area is very touristic. If you don't need an established camping place, here is a nice place to park by the bay.
One or two fishermen come by during the day. Very quiet. Free.
Please, when coming from the north, don't take the first road access that appears on Maps.me because there's an osprey nesting close to it. Choose the next one with coordinates at the entry: 26.800225,-113.18929

As described. Quite windy, but what would you expect? Whales spouting right off shore.

I was told that during whale watching season there is no free camping the entire lagoon area. Per; Pure Baja Travels

Nice spot behind some dunes and near mangroves. Lots of birds and the tide goes out for nearly a km. Could be very muddy if it rains. Found a whale skeleton and turtle shells. 3km walk to Kuyima.

Die strasse ist wohl jetzt überwiegend geteert und es ist kein Problem diese zu strasse zu befahren, Aussage amerikanische Touristen heute, die gestern dort waren

Decent spot for the night, very windy and chilly when we were here. Conveniently close to Kuyima if you want to go whale watching and/or go to their restaurant.

Nice place! In front of the lagoon, a lot of birds and free. The only downside for us was the amount of flies...maybe it was just seasonal, but we had a battle to keep them out of the RV.

Nice and quiet spot. We saw people collecting clams in the morning so we picked up some as well. Just the unpaved part of road to get there is hell.
