Latest Check-Ins

call ahead, was told by the manager that they no longer allow overnight parking. another one ruined by people living in meth RVs, leaving trash and being disrespectful.

Report Check-In

I've stayed here several times and found it comfortable and reasonably quiet. This time someone cut the cables attaching my friends' bikes to the back of their rig and got away with one of the bikes before they could react. Sigh. Make sure you lock everything down in this area.

Report Check-In

No one in the lot when we arrived at 9:30pm. We parked near the garden center. At 10:30 a group of young men came up to our RV and started yelling through the windows, "You better be scared." We cranked up, turned on our lights and they were a few parking spaces away drinking and carrying on. Also, cars kept cutting through the lot, a couple of them circled us. Very uncomfortable situation and we did not feel safe. We left.

Report Check-In

Great place to sleep near Red Woods np. Had no problems. got here at 8 and left at 8.

Report Check-In

Stayed 1 night 7pm-8:30am. Parked behind auto zone. No other rigs but had no issues, quiet night. Of course, always support the business with a purchase.

Report Check-In

Arrived late at night, took previous posts advice and left by the time the store opened in the morning. Didn’t run into any issues, made dinner out the back of my vehicle and slept for the night. Two other cars were parked there and both of them were gone by the time I woke up

Report Check-In

Saw previous posts and just need to stay here 1 night as I’m passing through so went ahead and called and a sweet lady said it’s okay to park here overnight just as long as you’re not blocking any of the customers and gone by 8am. Parking lot is set up perfectly so the back portion has plenty of spots. 1 other camper here (truck/trailer)

Report Check-In

There were a few people loitering around on bikes that made me a little anxious, but I’m kind of new to car camping and I’m just in an SUV and kind of exposed, but no one caused any problems. There was a van and a schoolie there too.

Report Check-In

Arrived around 7 at night and stayed until 8:15 in the morning. Had no issues and saw several other overnighters

Report Check-In

We stayed near the back of the AutoZone. Came in late, left early and no one bothered us.
There were some people yelling across the street in the evening, which was a bit frightening but we didn’t see them and they didn’t come near the parking lot.

Report Check-In

Definitely some road noise, but nothing crazy. Parked near the back by the auto zone just like others mentioned. Nobody bothered me at all. Nice and safe spot!

Report Check-In

As someone else said, loud street noise. 2 other vans and a short RV also spent the night in the back near AutoZone with us. Around 8:50am a Home Depot manager knocked on the van and told us that they don’t usually allow RVs to stay past 8am but we could take our time to get ready and leave in the next 30 minutes. He was very friendly about it before moving on to tell the other campers who were all still parked.

Report Check-In

Just asked the manager about parking here for one night. He said no. He told me he doesn’t want anything on our RV damaged or stolen by the local homeless population.

Report Check-In

Pulled in around 7pm - I called ahead of time and the lady said as long as it’s not for more than like 2 nights that it’s fine on the south side of the parking lot. I saw a sign and got confused but I think it’s talking about handicap spots more so. Happy camping! :-)

Report Check-In

We parked our RV around 7pm, spent the night and left at 9am. No one knocked on our door. Only street noise until 11pm (winter time).

Report Check-In

As described by others. Parked behind Autozone near the highway but far from Home Depot. No one bothered me.

Report Check-In

On a road trip from Santa Cruz in our 2015 Ford Transit mid-roof camper conversion. This is our first parking lot overnight! Stayed on a Tues night with no problems. Several other vehicles near us stayed the night as well; a short schoolie, a cabover pulling a trailer, and a van with a "stealth is not my middle name" brightly painted design all over. We parked in the Home Depot lot, toward the back, next to Auto Zone. It was nice and quiet all night and we felt safe. Some road noise but not bad at all. Strong AT&T cell signal.

Report Check-In

Ace Hardware a couple miles away has an external sign that they carry Camco products. No surprise since there are a crap-ton of RVs all throughout town in fee-based parks.

Only WiFi available from the parking lot closest to Autozone is secured.

Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper for the foghorn that is on auto-repeat from the harbor.

Plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Report Check-In

Felt safe parking by the auto zone area! Great data and not a lot of vans.

Report Check-In

Stayed one night with no issues. Great Verizon reception. The next day we drove over to the Starbucks parking lot for some free WiFi!

Report Check-In

Parked on right-side near the trees, as others had done before. There was a trailer that came as well not long after I got here. I am not sure if this happens every night, however, the workers were moving items with a loud forklift until midnight. had I read that on a review I would have picked another spot! I am not sure how to change rating...I would give it 2 star if I could.

Report Check-In

Parked near the back of the parking lot. There was one camper there as well. Good for an overnight stop.

Report Check-In

As mentioned, no issues for a quick overnight. Parked behind Auto Zone with in other RV. Only negative was street noise was loud but Starbucks right there is a bonus!

Report Check-In

No problems overnight. The Starbucks nearby opens at 5am and I had to poop really bad so I ran inside, then pooped really loud while I was the only customer in there so they all knew it was me, then I casually walked up to the register and ordered a small coffee and drove away forever

Report Check-In

Traffic is noisy but all in all a nice place to stay for a night. Parked away from the buildings for customers to park close. Left early on Saturday morning. No issues with anything.

Report Check-In

Nothing special but it was already late and we just wanted to sleep. Had no problems here.

Report Check-In

We got there early in the evening, made some dinner and shopped for a few needed items. Very quiet no problems could hear the “ship shore alert” signal in the distance by the lighthouse. Loved it!

Report Check-In

Spent the night with 3 other RV. Big parking lot with plenty of space. Quiet at night
