Large, somewhat flat site. Large fire ring, and as of presently, good amount of wood around in fallen trees. Located in Coconino National Forest. Maximum stay for camping is 14 days. Accommodated 33' rig, lots of room to back up and adjust if necessary.

Nice, mostly quiet, very widely spaced sites
We have a 36’ Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and parked and dropped at the Tee of the entrance road and Schultz Pass Road, then went to scout for a site that would accommodate us. Schultz Pass Road is closed to the South/left due to the Pipeline Wildfire damage last summer. So we couldn’t get to where we stayed a couple of years ago. We went right and found this nice site about a half mile North or so and a couple hundred yards off of Schultz Pass Road. We stayed for 4 days. There were quite a few gravel haulers running back and forth on Schultz Pass Road, which kicked up quite a bit of dust, but if you’re off of Schultz Pass Rd a bit, the dust is not too much of a bother. There are a number of trails/forest roads in the immediate area to hike, some with nice views of the valley and surrounding mountains.
AT&T coverage was fair, with 3 Bars of LTE service and speeds up to 8 MB/s. Although there are trees, our immediate site was pretty open, so we were able to receive all 3 SW Dish satellites and Starlink had up to 11 MB/s. We didn’t try to load any OTA channels.
Report Check-InStayed about 6 nights total here. Nice loop with plenty of room between you and the road. Very dusty when I was here, it’s a recently burned place that got covered in snow. So it’s kind of an ashy dirt dust. Nobody bothered us or even looked twice. Only other negative was some weekend shooting nearby. Also I got 500 Mbps download on t-mobile here.
Report Check-InAs usual arrived after 10:00 p.m. continued on to near the end of the Ring Road. Found a flat pull out easily with a fire ring. Minimal highway noise in the distance. caution! do not continue in the ring road assuming that it is a ring and hooks to the highway. It does not and there's some sandy driving that we got to do twice as we retraced our path.
Report Check-InRoad is open. Camps in good condition. Some locals target shooting nearby.
Report Check-InFlat, easily accessible for all vehicles. Heavily used, but widely dispersed. Lots of trees. Many great spots. Great place to spend the night with a campfire.
Report Check-InArrived late and needed a spot, plenty of little pull offs, we found one close-ish to the road with a stone fire pit and god spot for a tent and hammock dirt road but no need for 4 wheel, full AT&T LTE Service. Stars incredibly bright up above the pines. Pitfall - dust from passing cars and highway noise.dust form
Report Check-InBeautiful forest area to enjoy! Nice and shady, plenty of options for big rigs, the gravel road is a little bumpy- but it’s worth the slow drive back into the trees.
Report Check-InThere are a couple of places to boondock. Some have fire rings. This Road is not used by the off Road vehicles which makes it pretty quiet.
Lots of winds, temperatures are chill during the night and warm during the day. Beautiful view of the mountains.
Dirt road with lots of spots to wild amp. Arrived Friday around noon and found a good big spot. Big rv’s no problem. Cooler than Phoenix. 7000+ feet altitude. Shade under trees. You can hear the road..
Report Check-Inbeautiful pine forest....lots of spots easy access for 35 ft. mh. suggest scouting for available spots...
