MODERATOR NOTE: Place removed because City Ordinance Prohibits camping within city limits. Signs posted and enforced
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Overnight parking isn’t allowed here. Use the Junction Restaurant parking lot. This is a nice day spot, though, with great access to the free “hippie hot springs” (best ones are across the bridge/river from this spot). Port-potties in the parking lot.
Report Check-InDidn’t spend the night but talked to some other vanlifers we met who have been here for weeks. They just park on the streets at night because I guess the police do check to make sure no one is causing problems and sweep out the actual parking lot around midnight. So park close and then you have to check out the hot spring under the bridge.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot but no camping\overnight parking signs are posted on every light pole. We didn’t want to chance a tow so we moved on.
Report Check-InDo you want to live in a van down by the river? This is the perfect spot for you. Right next to a paid hot spring. Worth it though.
