I was very confused by all the comments posted here. Store is very busy and the lot is full of shoppers. Not a huge parking lot. This Walmart seems to be a hit and miss deal. Sometimes the knock and moved on, and sometimes not. the posted sign is very clear (picture taken and attached). Sign says: NO OVERNIGHT PARKING ALLOWED. I did not stay. Went to Loves at I25

Stayed a couple nights and saw others as well. got a knock on the third night. Big Lots down the street is another decent alternative.

This Walmart is a hit or miss. I used to work asset protection at this location, they do not allow overnight parking because the city of Longmont said if they didn’t do it they wouldn’t respond to shoplifting calls. We had a lot of crime in this parking lot at the time! You might get away with it a few nights but once they catch on they’ll have Longmont PD run you out of the parking lot. Some people I’ve talked too said if you park closer to the west side by the dispensary you won’t be bothered but I’m not sure how true that is. Overnight park at your own risk!

Don’t know what security someone was talking about, haven’t been asked to move once. Been here with our trailer for 3 days so far. Left all of our equipment and trailer here without any issues. A lot of spaces in dark areas so you don’t have to be under a bright light all night. Some others have also been here to park, and since the parking lot is so big they are all spaced out. Very quiet at night, minimal noise during the day other than your typical Walmart noise. This Walmart is new and very nice on the inside if you need the restroom. If you have an electric vehicle, they even have eletrify America stations. Lots of trees and bushes, but also a lot of homeless. They haven’t bothered anyone, and the police seem to be trying to rid them of the area. All in all would stay here again!

Was asked to leave around 8:30pm. by security. The guard was apologetic and directed me to a Big Lots down the road.

I even saw a cop do a round, who didn't bother anyone.

Called ahead and was told Longmont city bans overnight parking at Walmart.

This place is definitely open for overnight parking. Or at least if it isn’t, it’s not enforced. I arrived after close during covid season so didn’t get a chance to ask. I came and scoped the place out because of previous reviews that said it was closed for overnight and people had issues, but when I got here there were at least 10-12 RV’s, campers, and cars already parked, not trying to look conspicuous at all. Campers were parked without a vehicle attached, seemingly there for an extended period of time, and people had blankets and towels over their car windows for privacy. I found a shady spot in the back of the lot and slept with no problems at all. Went inside in the morning to get some supplies. Great place to sleep in between days at Rocky Mountain NP, less than an hour out.

parking on the Garden side. Seems ok. there are a few other rv’s. mine being the most obvious. Was told its ok to park here. we shall see
