Something not right?

Description

Free. Everything everyone else said is true. Also it’s a good road up when dry, but the spots are small. Mostly tent spots with a couple that are large RV friendly. Mostly shaded, but low branches at about 10’ clearance. One-way road. Enter at the far one from the approach. About 8 sites each with a fire pit/grill and a picnic table. Pit toilet, no water, overall very clean and green. 2 bars of Verizon 4G. 1 bar AT&T

Latest Check-Ins

Just had lunch. We walked up road to top for view. Lovely road and surrounding hills. No one there mid day. Creek was flowing. Water was still winterized.

Report Check-In

The first site seems to be the largest-a back in site. The next site, on the right, is nice-sized too. No fee when off-season. Quiet and pretty.

Report Check-In

6 spaces. No Fees. T-Mobile 4lte and 5g, 1-2 bars.

Report Check-In

The report of $10 fee is incorrect. There is a sign at the entrance saying the campground is free. Not sure if that is seasonal or temporary, but today, it’s free!

Report Check-In

Empty today and not much of signs of use. looks like it has not been cleaned in a while. Careful of black widows in the vault toilet and bring your toilet paper too. T-Mobile cell is good.

Everything everyone else said is true, unfortunately it’s not free. $10 per vehicle and 7 for each additional. Also it’s a good road up when dry, but the spots are pretty small. I’d say mostly tent spots with a couple that are large RV friendly. Mostly shaded, but low branches at about 10’ clearance. One way road. Enter at the far one from approach.

Update. Looked at pictures, looks really nice. Arrived with light mud wet, and snow at several spaces. Didn’t want to camp on snow patch so moved on down the road. All spaces have open view of long 35’? blue converted school bus, appears to be a long term resident.

Report Check-In

Nice spot! Made it up the steep road to the campsite (rises about 1000 feet over 3.2 miles) in our 38' skoolie and found a nice flat spot to spend the night amongst the huge trees. There was still a little bit of snow on the ground but otherwise the roads were in good shape; I would not have attempted to take our 8 ton rig up here if there had been much rain or snow recently, I could see the road getting pretty bad after some precipitation. Beautiful spot.

Report Check-In

As described, very quite. No t-mobile service

Report Check-In

We tried to get there but the road was too muddy and slippery. But, there was a really nice little pullout with a picnic table just before you enter the National Forest. Very quiet. Just 1 car in 18 hrs.

Report Check-In

One word COLD in the winter. The toilet hasn’t been maintained in a long time. Other than that we had it to ourselves.

Report Check-In

This place is nice. We made it here in our 40 foot skoolie. The road was up hill and paved for a while then dirt the last half mile. Would not recommend in bad weather. 2 bars LTE Verizon

Report Check-In
