Somewhere next the to city, in the middle of green fields, a lot of trees and many water. you can park at two short dead ends. Some cars will pass by and a lot of cows, but everybody was very friendly and helpful.

This is now the ‘Samarkand eternal city’. A massive tourist complex and huge redevelopment with hotels and a recently built tiny city. Deffo not for overlanders anymore. :-(
