24July2019: The parking guards seem to have realised this is an ideal place for overlanders and first asked 100/night for a big rig. We bargained down to 50 … but they would not go lower.
Still, it is very convenient for visiting Dushanbe.
We stayed for two quiet nights at the back side of the buildings; no facilities

we stayed two nights at the back side of the buildings. we gave 10 somoni per day to the gard. location is good to visit Duchanbe.
very quiet at night.

Stayed one night. The guards requested some money (20 somoni for the van). Very central location.

Through barrier to car park in excellent location. Stayed for three nights.
Full stocked Tim supermarket near by, paid with visa card.

We stayed here last night with mixed feelings. First the parking lot guard said that parking was free and it is no problem to stay over night if we leave in the morning . Then hotel staff came and demanded photocopies of passports and 85 Somoni (!!!) for the night. In the end the guard overruled hotel staff and we could stay for free. In the morning we were asked for money however, we handed over a small tip. The parking lot has no amenities whatsoever. It’s just a lit space between a hotel and karaoke bar.

Free guarded parking lot near hotel Tajikistan.
We stayed there 2 nights with our rig for free. First night a bit noisy due to the karaoke nearby. Second night extremely calm.
Walking distance to the parks, the flag and national museum.
