As the campsite at Marang was closed due constructions we headed here - they reopened their camp again. It is not so well maintained (only some patches are green, half of the power plugs dont work and on one side they collect construction material from the lodge. The women side of the ablution was closed but it was clean in the men part with good water-pressure (very hot), toilet paper and soap. We had a quite night and got waked up by the birds. Still best opion when you want to camp close to town. $110ppn

they don't allow anylonger to camp. We moved to Marang hotel

Didn’t enjoy our stay here at all. At first sight, the place looks good and we were charged 110pppp. However, the restaurant was a joke. One of us got food poisoning and the ordering process was strange. We turned up, ordered drinks and then 5-10 mins later we were asked to close the bill as Happy Hour had ended at 8pm. We said we weren’t told about it being Happy Hour, so we asked if we could buy another round since it was 8 on the dot - the answer was No. We ordered the pounded beef and it arrived warm and then an apple crumble for dessert. Was served two small pieces of something that was cold with cold custard. After a couple bites, we looked at it and the pastry wasn’t even cooked properly.

Avoid, unless self-catering!

Third time we’ve stayed here. Friendly staff. Grassy in places. Lots of shade. Quiet. Ablutions fine. No WiFi at camp, usually only works at the office, if lucky. P100pppn. Good place to stay a few days to catch up on work.

As discribed below. Big complex with lots of rooms/lodges.
Pool need some cleaning, but we cooled off anyway.
Some electricity points need some restoration. Can be dangerous whene plug-in.
But........... Price now BP100 pp and not even high season.
Good thing: In the neighbourhood is a deaf-institute. And one of the staff is working at the reception. That is a very good initiative!!

Nice Campsite with very slow Wifi :-) Ablutions ok. If you want to go to the town, leave your overlander at the place and walk out to the road, take a taxi to town and don´t pay more than 20 pula !!! that is very comfortable and not expensive. we were the only guests at the campsite and it was very very quiet at night
