MODERATOR NOTE: No overnight camping allowed, please respect the wishes of the locals.

My name is Ryan and I am the Lead Game Warden for the Blackfeet Fish & Wildlife Department. I had received a call of non-tribal members camping in this location recently. All of the road side campers advised me they found this location on iOverlander. I am here to notify everybody that roadside/illegal camping is in violation of our Blackfeet Fish & Wildlife Laws & Regulations. If anyone is found in this area, illegally camping, you will be cited and fined $500.00 USD. I wasn’t able to go all the way to the camping spots at the ridge due to a huge mud puddle obstruction. My SUV would have gotten stuck, but I was able to pull off at a little area just at the entrance of the gravel road. It was very quiet and beautiful mountain views. No service, however, with my phone.

Report Check-In

Well... we couldn’t make it up there with our dodge caravan, half way up, the path was so damaged by the other big trucks that it was impossible.
•BEWARE• BEAR AREA
We saw a pretty big one on the side of the road leading up to the path, devouring something that looked like a dead cow/moose in the ditch.....
Tents maybe not recommended

Report Check-In

I stayed closer to the main road on the ridge. It was very rutted due to lots of rain the prior week. Beautiful views. Quiet. Another class B here as well.

This road had multiple potential spots for small tents, although it is rocky and a bit uneven. beautiful views, very cold and windy. fun road on a dual sport motorcycle. lots of cows!

Report Check-In

Amazing views but two rigs already there so we explored down some more trails. Found a spot to the north on a an rarely used trail. No fire ring, lots of cows but views for days!

Report Check-In

Amazing spot. Poured rain the whole time and didn’t need 4wd at all to get here, although it was a little muddy. Views for days!

the original GPS location was a little off or at least where it used to be is not really accessible anymore. I have updated the location and it's only about a hundred yards up the road there is a nice little place there you can turn around as well and as everyone said the view is epic and well worth the venture out to get here

Report Check-In

OMG. Unbelievable views all around. Kinda wet in spots. We used 4WD to get here.

Report Check-In

Amazing place! Firering, nothing else but that is the point. We spended there nearly 24h and saw no one. Quiet, can get windy tho. We made up here with our low clearance 2WD but might get too tricky if wet, since there was some mud. Would not go up with big RV unless feeling it is my lucky day and nothing can go wrong.

Report Check-In

A good view of the mountains 15 minutes or so off the highway. Trail is fairly wide and should accomodate most vehicles, though a bit rutted in places. We just camped right in the middle of the smaller path at the best view point as it's a dead end anyway. There are plenty of places where you could pull out though as well. Very private, no one else up here. Enter through Livermore Truck Trail.
