You can park your car close to the road. You have to jump the little fence and walk in front of the lac beach during like 200meters. You have to cross the water during 15meters, by foot with your shoes but it’s not deep at all. After that you are alone on the island ! You can easily camp in the middle of the trees without wind.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.

Also stayed on the west side of the road. Pulled into the cow grazing land. Saw cow pies but not a beast itself, mostly hidden from road depending on size of vehicle
Report Check-InOpposite Side of the road, it give a flat space whit Grass, it can be an option for camping for cyclist, a bite hidden, and wind protection, an option to crash before entering in town !
