Nice and relatively quiet 24 hour FREE lot in town close to shops and restaurants ran into other vanlifers and campers.

Lots of "No Overnight Camping" signs in the large parking lot. Many of the surrounding streets are no parking 4am-7am

Report Check-InOver night public parking lot quite at night can fit sprinter van or something little bit bigger no big rigs close to restaurants and shops.
Report Check-InParking allowed for 24 hours, local van lifer said cops don’t monitor too well, and can sometimes stay longer than 24 hours. Close to dog park, Rec center nearby where you can shower for $7 and re-supply water.
Report Check-InThere is also several green recycling bins along the downtown sidewalks. I've seen glass, paper, and plastic in these bins.
Report Check-InJust a dirt lot. Has signs to it for “public parking” and a sign at lot stating the 24 hour parking limit. Safe feeling. Got crowded at night because there was a farmers market going on in town. Walking distance to downtown Carbondale.
