Latest Check-Ins

Mint site, plenty of room for any size RV.

Report Check-In

Great place to stay. There were quite a few people here, when we arrived, but still had room. No T-mobile or Verizon. We have a Good Transit extended and had no problem getting here. The road is well maintained.

accurate descriptions by all - sept 2022 still NO Att signal decent views and sounds of the river below 👌

Report Check-In

Easy access, road in good shape. Free camping with firepits. Some spots are leveled. We saw a couple that seems to live there permenently with 2 dogs. We stayed 3 nights. No network.

About 3 spots here where I'm parked in my 30' skoolie. Sites are closer together than I like but it's free so can't complain. Road is very busy on this Friday afternoon, pretty much a constant stream of traffic up and down. If it's solitude you're looking for, might not be the best place, at least not this time of year.

Report Check-In

free dispersed camping. no water source because it's not a Long River it's up top of mountain area. plenty of other rigs around. room for bigger rigs. tent spaces fire rings but currently fire restrictions. once you get off of the main road it's a gravel road headed up. along main road were lots of established campgrounds that were $23 a night where this area is free. did not see pit toilets up near the camping spots but there is plenty in all the day use areas along roadway 14 up. no cell service for quite a ways along roadway 14 so make sure you plan ahead for that.

Legal, free spot up Poudre canyon. Found the perfect spot exactly on the pin location. Small fire pit, and several level spots.

Report Check-In

Great spot, easy to access and established fire pit sites on both sides of road. Rangers checked in, so definitely a legit free site.

Pingree Park area (Rd). Tons of dispersed camping all the way through and on Crown Point Rd. Lots of 2wd camping along main road. 4wd and high clearance camping areas off some of the side roads. Large fire through there around 2015 and the more backcountry areas opened again this year that are much more secluded. Been going up here over 20 years. Love it!

Report Check-In

Fairly busy on weekends, some of the only legal free camping up Poudre Canyon. When we were here most of the campgrounds weren’t open for the season yet, so it might get less busy during summer. We drove in on a Saturday and had to drive significantly further up the road than the indicated spot. Plenty of pull-offs, almost all had tent pads and fire rings. Not all were flat if you’re vehicle camping. The first few spots were the largest, but further up you’ll get better views. Lots of people around but everyone kept it quiet at night. Fairly established area- there’s a picnic area a few miles in with pit toilets. No trash disposal, so pack it out and keep this spot open please!
