Something not right?

Description

Pretty nice grassy spots along the 7th lake. In the village at the end of the 6th lake, continue along the river. Make sure you take a sharp left and continue uphill between the 6th and 7th lake. Road gets more narrow and bumby, so not ideal for big rigs maybe. The road ends here at the 7th lake. Quiet place with a beautiful view. Some other locals were camping here as well, but didn’t bother us except bringing water melon :-). In the morning some young boys came to have a look.

No 4wd needed at all till 400m to the 7th lake. Drive in the village on the lake way not village! We made it with sprinter 2wd just 400m before the lake. It’s fantastic but the 6th lake has a bit the same view if you park your Van on the lake and Hich up a bit to Mountain hills, you will see the same view.

Perfect spot to stay and was not difficult to get with 4x4 high clearance.

Really the most beautiful of all the lakes. It's worth going all the way up here. We came on foot, as other travelers worned us that you can not do it without a 4x4. You can if you have high ground clearance. The road is not worse than it is until the 6th lake.

Beautiful place at the shore of the 7th lake. You can park on the meadow. Not perfectly flat. But the view is stunning - especially during sunset. Some friendly shepherds with their donkeys passing by. A lovely old man came by and said that it is okay to camp here (maybe it‘s his ground?). He didn‘t ask for money.
Road from 6th to 7th lake is very narrow and steep. Only for small 4wd vehicles with high ground clearance (max. Landcruiser size).
The gravel road to the other lakes is small but not that bad. In dry conditions doable without 4wd - but high ground clearance needed. Not recommended for big rigs.

Great place as described beneath, the woman living in the house near the lake was quite invasive when begging for money though. We gave het some fruit instead, after that she left

Absolutely stunning place but be prepared for the road if going by motorcycle. I did not know what to expect and it turned out to be a struggle to get here. Lots of loose rocks and soft sand, especially at the steep turns. Luckily locals were very helpful getting me back on the bike after falling twice ;-)

Most beautiful lake of the 7. We drove up with our Defender and had no problems. We saw locals do it with a Mercedes Vito, but I would definitely not recommend that as the road is steep and you have to cross some rivers. There is an overhanging rock along the road between the 6th and 7th lake that will probably only allow you to pass with a car no higher than ca. 3m. The lake is quiet and there is just one house around. Lots of locals go up and down the mountain and will have a chat with you if you like. Definitely worth going up and camping here if you're able to.
Note: there is one turn you make which is pretty sharp. Go straight first and turn around, the come back to make the turn.

Really a magic place! But you definitly can't go up with a truck! The sharp curve and a very big rock are not passable with a long and high vehicle. We parked our truck at the 3. lake and walked up, but it will need around 5 hours! No problem with a smaller 4x4.
