Beautiful. Bugs weren't bad. Good service. 2 rangers came by to confirm I was camping there and asked how long my stay was. Genuinely nice.

Great spot, down a small gravel road, there’s a sign at the beginning of the road showing where to turn, about 4 spots total. I showed up at 7pm and there was only one other spot taken. I came in on a motorcycle with no issue. Very quiet and zero traffic.

turned at the state park sign and drove a ways on the road. passed a couple smaller sites with heavy tree cover. being fall and raining we need every bit of light we can get to keep our batteries charged. site is a good sized grassy clearing. there is a big fire ring. the ground is lumpy but we were able to get 2 cans level in the center. 4g 1 to 2 bars of Verizon with a booster. no traffic on the road. nothing but the clearing and the road. i didn't see any trails or pit toilets or really any indication of this being a state park after the sign at the end of the road.

Awesome place, exactly as described. Quiet, clean, perfect for tenting. Enough space for a few tents at each site, good flat ground. Please take your litter with you when you go folks, wild gems like this are rare and wonderful!

as described, 3-4 camp areas passed on the way to this one. only 1 taken. arrived 7pm friday night. pleasantly surprise how quite it was except for a few gunshots in the distance for the first 30mins of our arrival. nice would stay again

Ok stay. Campsites all pretty far from another, but close to road. Not many cars passing.

Gate at the entrance was opened, unlike the previous spot we tried. There is a large firepit that is great on cold days like this one! Very quiet!

This place was wonderful, it is dead quiet at night and I awoke to lovely bird sounds in the morning. There was just one other camper here when I arrived, but the sites are nicely spaced out and I could not hear or see them even though they had a roaring fire. It was very easy to find as someone else stated, and the roads were easy to navigate by car. This spot was quite a bit out of my way, but it was well worth it and I would stay here again without a doubt.

Nice place, quiet and empty when I visited on a Tuesday. Dirt road is in great condition and passable for all vehicles. Even room for larger vehicles at some of the sites.

Nice camping spots, 3 or 4 sites, all with firespots, easy to find, calm, was here for one night, would recommend.

Great spot! We had it all to ourselves and spent 2 nights here. It was very quiet and peaceful. Thank you so much for sharing this spot and please leave no trace if you camp here!

Approximately four sites down a gravel track. The marker is on a large grassy site just before the end of the one way road.

We found it empty and quiet. Camping is allowed, and old camp fire spots exist.

Wild camping with no facilities, but a good option not far from the highway along the lake. We had decent cell signal with AT&T.
