Nice open area away from the road with beautiful views on the Cordillera Huahuash on the one hand and the hanging glaciar on the other. It’s cold and windy at night, but the view makes up for it and the early rising sun will warm you in the morning. Any Rig can fit, but for tents it might be a little bit to exposed. For tents the iO Spot at the lake further down would be the better option.

Very nice location with a 360 ° view. In the early morning we could see the Huayhuash mountain range lit by the sunrise, it was superb. This location is visible from the road but no one passed during our stay. It's extremely quiet! The altitude is high, it was our first night as high, but it was fine. No Claro Signal.
Report Check-InGreat view! Really cold at night and in the morning. But the views make up for it!
