Description

Awesome place to camp in this cute little town right on the beach. Stayed one night, weren’t bothered. It was Saturday so there were some beach parties, but not loud. To get here, there is a road off the Main Street with a sign at the end that says Estacionamiento. Other cars were parked there u til sunset, mostly families enjoying games or a walk on the beach. There is a little artesian market and some eateries. We really enjoyed the evening here.

Wanted to camp here, beautiful location however two locals thAT lived opposite told us we couldn’t and that police would come around to move us along at night. Shame! We stayed at el bosque around the corner instead.

Parking on the side of the street. There is an incredible view of the entire coastline.

....................

Estacionamiento a un costado de la calle. Hay una vista increible de todo el borde costero.

Beautiful place, next to the campsite near the sea. Very quiet. When the sun goes down everybody left the beach.

Es un estacionamiento justo al lado del humedal y entrada a la playa.
En estas fechas fue un Lugar tranquilo, facil acceso. a metros de la playa
Nos quedamos 1 noche en una Van y todo perfecto.

spend a really quite night directly on the beach. a bit wind in the evening but absolutely ok. Also pitched a tent. guess it's more difficult in high season. the village is very cute.

Access flooded by last days rains, couldn’t go with our rv but seems nice.

just as everyone describes, very nice spot right at the beach
we arrived in the Dark at night, but felt really safe
only strange thing is when driving to the place there are some horses running free
in the morning nice for a walk at the beach and a swim

You have to enter the parking lot on the beach, but if you go around the pine trees there are plenty of covered areas to camp. Plenty of fire wood. Suitable for any type of rig. Very quiet. Nice town where you can buy supplies. No 4x4 needed. There is a sign at the entrance of the beach with rates for parking but we were there in March and nobody was there to collect money.

Stayed in high season with our van for a week in this little town. We came quite late so we didnt had to pay a entrance fee for the parking. On high season might be 3000 clp for the day...(10am-8pm) less if you park later, free from 8pm on. We didn't had to pay, nobody really cared we stayed some nights. It is not a closed parking. There is no facilities. Bathrooms at the fishermans alle for 300 clp (not 24h). Pretty quiet at night eventho on Friday ans Saturday were some beach parties going on till pretty late. Fun place. Nice locals. Got to play beachvolleyball and met lots of friendly dogs.

We came to this spot again to do some mountainbiking on the other side of the highway (if you want to do this you will find the trails in the app “trailforks” and soon photos on our blog). We left our van twice alone for several hours without any issues. It is low season and weekday and there are always few people around. Probably don’t do it in high season or on weekends.

Great spot with lots of space. Only early Saturday morning some locals came with a car and played loud music, but wasn’t too bad. Also we saw some locals in the morning with a van and a tent who slept here.

Very cute place to park our van ! Nobody was there, the village was desert but I bet it should be full of live and tourists during summer!
