This Kuwwat Hotel is a shit-hole. Rather spend some dollars more for a more decent place or if you have an overlanding vehicle camp in the shaded parking of Ak Altyn.

Still 15 usd per person for a lux room. Reasonably clean. There was a $10 pp option available but we didn't look at it.

coming from usbekistan we found this place overpriced: yes AC, hot water and fridge are working, but ... it smells of cat pee in the entrance. You have to mantain your bedsheets by yourself, there is no breakfast, no wifi and althought there would be obviously enough cleaning experts around in Ashgabat the whole place is looking like it hasn't been refurbished ever.

Very basic but affordable accommodation. There are 2 options:

$10 - standard room with AC (shared bathroom and toilets)
$15 - Delux room with AC (your own private bathroom)

There is a kitchen with a hot water urn - but you have to bring your own tea/coffee. Shared bathrooms are nothing flash, but they have hot water and western toilets. One of the ladies who works there can speak English and she will restaurants/pubs etc are. What more can you expect in a $10 hotel?

A pretty good convenience store around the corner. And as the previous person mentioned... you can ride your motorbike/bicycle into the gated area as long as it fits through the doorway. Cars park just outside the gate, but they have security cameras all over the place.

Cheapest hotel in Ashgabat, US$15 pp, very friendly but not much English spoken. You can park your motorcycles inside but not a car. There is a kitchen, laundry. Fridge in your room, A/C and a TV.
