Austria
We were waived thru in our 5.5 ton motorhome and no checks or pp control on the austrian side. Also no-one to be seen on the hungary side so we stopped at the convenient store/gas station where a friendly german speaking lady issued a vignett receipt and took 5950 hl. on the debit card for 10 days. We won't need 10 days but the 24 euro maut is expensive but its less hassle than trying to find toll free roads as our maps.me doesnt do " no toll roads". The first toll cameras are just as you start driving on the 8 road.
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Austrians stop entering vehicles and check passports, but still no problem. On Hungarian side noone.
The nearest gas station doesn't fill more than 20l, but others in the vicinity do (mol lets to fill 100l)
