If you pull off Sunspot Highway and drive down Russian Road, eventually you will come to this spot! It’s isolated away from other campsites but has one big fire pit in the middle of the clearing and another smaller one up a hill. So peaceful and didn’t see a single person while I was here. It’s one of the only spots that I was able to get some Verizon service off this road.

very nice camping area. multiple camp sites with fire pits. if you go up the hill on the left there’s some beautiful spots. up the hill on the left, someone had left a tent that is half torn apart (photo included). saw only one other person here. we did get 2 bars with Verizon. lovely spot!
Report Check-InGreat spot, very secluded. room enough for at least 3 cars. rough rocky road on the way in, some patches of snow, 4wd definitely recommended. there are at least four other big pull offs on the nf road good for camping and closer to the main road. last little hump to get to the clearing off the road is pretty rutted/muddy, low clearance vehicles might have a tough time. Solid spot though! not a soul all night.

Report Check-InGreat site, pull off forest rd through 2 trees that almost form a gated entrance. Great place to camp, very remote. Never saw another vehicle on this road.
