A further 250m brings you to a small clearing on left hand side. Negligible traffic noise.
Neither place completely obscured from view, but only passing vehicles will be logging trucks.

Beautiful spot with established fire places. We stayed right next to the river, had a fire in the evening and swam in the stream in the morning. Takes 45 minutes over an unmade road so be aware, but highly recommend this spot
