PAID Parking Lot next to the Angrignon Park in Montréal. There is a barrier at the entrance but it was open all the time. We didn’t see any “no overnight parking” signs. Stayed there for two nights. During the day there are some cars, quiet during night. There are two portable toilets next to the parking lot.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Stayed in the free lot overnight. Quiet, dark and no one bothered us. Would stay here again!
Report Check-InWe stayed one night. It was quiete. But there are same new signs with lot of roles. The sign is in french and we don't know, if the rules are also for the parking lot. So we asked a police officer. He sayed it is fine to stay one night.
This spot is free, but maybe overnight parking will become permitted.
There is another place nearby the metro station. The gps Position is
45,4456685, -73,6018619
At this place you have to pay 15$ for 24h.
I just parked here and it looks like you can only pay for 24 hours at a time. Is there a way to pay for multiple days at once?
Report Check-InPer previous checkin comments, there is some confusion regarding payment requirements for this spot.
There are 2 parking lots in Angrignon Park. North parking, right next to subway station, is $15 per 24h, it is busier with all metro commuters vehicles.
South-East parking which iOverlander coordinates properly mark, is free of charge. Less busy, mostly utilized by park walkers.
We have stayed in the free one for 3 nights, walking up (about 15 mins) to Metro station and commuting to Montreal city center via subway.
Great, peaceful spot.
24 hour parking available for $15. Stayed 2 nights without any issues. It’s located at the metro station so it’s convenient for exploring the city.
Report Check-Infree parking, spent the night here with my kids. It was the weekend so there were some parties going on in the park, but we woke up to a peaceful morning and had breakfast in the park. port-a-potties, picnic tables and BBQs on site.
Report Check-InNot free anymore ! 3$/hour or 12$ for 24hours. So we headed to the nearest Walmart.
Report Check-InIn my opinion the best place for the night while exploring montreal since it's almost impossible to find a free parking lot in the City. Metro station is close to the park and a day pass is 10$.
Report Check-InBest place to sleep. Left trailer at Walmart during the day while exploring but moved here to sleep. Both close to metro. Picked up bag full of garbage. Challenge you to do the same.
It’s Beautiful here
vey nice spot, barriers were up when we arrived and we spent a good quiet night
Report Check-InAs described: Parking lot in park. Has gates but always open. Maybe not be that way for long. A few cars passed in the late night. Signs only warn about 24 hr surveillance but nothing about no parking.
Great spot and walking distance to metro.
