Nice traditional Guesthouse in one of the old buildings. It has a rest area to sit, shared toilets (where you have to stand), hot water shower and rooms with traditional beds (the blankets), and TV. We paid 7$ per Person, without breakfast. Chai You with cookies you get for 5000. Internet is not really fast. Motorbikes can park inside, cars not.
Nice place to stay.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Was still closed when we were in Khiva July 2019. Looks amazing though... would love to have stayed there if it was open
Report Check-InIn April 2019 it looked closed. The door is locked and the Hostel sign isn't anymore above the entrance. But just try later in the season. It seems a really quiet location for a good night sleep inside or outside in a car.
Report Check-In- The hostel is an old "mini" fortress, the only building on a hugh empty field just in front of the old town, very quite (by the way, we entered the old town several times from that side without paying anything).
- The owner of the hostel a very nice and courteous.
- You will sleep very traditionally!
- There is place for two motorbikes inside and many vans etc. outside.
