Access is via a dirt road on the middle/outside of a broad turn on the highway. The large flat parking area is alongside the dirt road that continues down the hill (probably used only during alpaca shearing times). The parking area is only visible to larger vehicles who can see over the guardrail driving east.
Very nice, quiet (from inside the vehicle can barely hear trucks on the road) safe and beautiful views!
Big rigs can fit here but need to back down the dirt track so they can make the turn needed to get around the small rock formation.

Nice spot with great mountain views. We drove our motorcycle down the path a little to get out of sight of the road. The ground was not to level for the tent, and it was colder than a witches teet at night. But, it’s a good option on this road.
