If you take a bath in the hot springs (10 Lari per person in private tub) and ask the people, they will let you camp at the parking. There is a waterfall for enough fresh water, a clean toilet with water from the waterfall, a trash bin and very friendly people, inviting you for tea.
And the hot springs are very relaxing after the bumpy road to/from Tusheti.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
There is no hostel anymore near this place. It was used as camp of the road maintenance team for several month. The three bathrooms are still well maintained and clean.
We took a bath, but did not stay overnight. It started raining and we wanted to finish the pass downwards.
The guy did not want to let us visit the thermal. Pity. He was lazy. I dont recommend staying there.
Report Check-InI think it isn’t a good spot to stay overnight. Every other will be better.
But it is a nice place for a break on the road. The hot springs are very nice. We paid 30GEL for 2 person in a private room.
The road towards the hot springs was blocked (for bigger cars) by stones. There still is a tiny parking area you can reach, but for us not sufficient enough to stay the night.
Report Check-InHot springs are nice. 10 GEL pp. we parked at the parking just before the waterfall. As stated before, toilet available. Possibility to sleep in the house when you are with a bike
Report Check-InOn our way from Omalo we decided to have a stopp here. The springs are great and the bath is a very good experience after hours on the road. The view from the bath is amazing. We stayed there for nearly one hour and paid 10 GEL per person in a private bath. They have there of these rooms.
