Big open space off [westside] and away from the freeway. We have used this spot to boondock twice mainly to avoid the busy and brightly lit rest area and its many people on our way to Vegas and beyond. Excellent cell service metro PC's and Verizon.

Checked and this area is designated BLM land, however, we arrived around 5pm and had a lady who looked to be a squatter/homeless in a nearby vacant structure (abandoned restaurant) yell at us and threaten us, telling us to go away and “git”
Report Check-InBig flat spot for parking enough of the way off the highway to get some good sleep. Stars were surprisingly clear.
Report Check-InEasy spot for a night. Heard a bit of highway sound but not bad. There is sandy wash if you go up the road more so I recommend staying lower if you don’t have 4x4.
