A proper bush camp with no facilities at all (no long drop or shower enclosure like most other CKGR campsites), just a piece of Africa to camp. There are two areas to pick from, about 100m apart, but if you book this site the other should be unoccupied, next neighbors are some 15km away.
We heard lions at night and cheetahs were spotted to the east (close to Lekhubu campsite). We saw 3 brown hyenas near the waterhole.
Great spot if you like remote bush camping!
Report Check-InWe circled the campground but did not stay. Still no facilities, nice flat ground to camp. Current visitors are ground squirrels.
