Ecuador
We parked for free in the front of the cultural park La Garza Roja. Right in the nature near the river, very quiet. We asked the guardian for permission. Lots of mosquitos. During the day if you pay the entrance fee to the park you can use toilet, restaurant, shower, swimmingpool. Very nice museum.
Perfect place for children.

Quiet and free, in the trees, lots of birdsong. Only negative is the mosquitoes. (Not terrible, but there are some). We arrived around 6pm and chatted to the security guard who said no problem to sleep here, and no charge. Then we enjoyed the water park next day for $3 each - the slides are great fun! Thanks for adding this - great find!
