Panama
Wide parking place right next to the beach. 6 dollars per night. You can find some nice shadowed spots. It can definitely fit bit rigs since once a big bus with locals parked there. When we were there (off season) the owner was just there on weekends but he let us stay also during the week and we closed the gate when we went away. No facilities but the restaurant on the other side of the road charges 1$ per shower.
For surfers:
the parking is next to the beach break. if you wanna surf the main point of Santa Catalina, you might wanna go to a restaurant or hostel up in the hill or closer to the town, it's a bit of a walk from the parking.

Unfortunately the gate was closed and nobody around knew if or when someone would come to open it. We called the number on the sign at the entrance but the guy answering didn't really respond to my question - sounded as he just woke up or something else. Camping on the sand along the river/beach was not an option for us, but for smaller/lighter vehicles probably doable.
Report Check-InReally nice place during the week. We parked for free a bit further away on the right side for our fantastic Coiba trip. The police came and informed us because of the tide. Be careful and check the tide exactly, maybe with an app, but for us it was no problem at all for 3 days. The water came until 3 m before the truck.
Report Check-Inparking and camping $10
shower and toilet in a party salon in front of the camping
$1 per person
You can actually park for free on the sand on the side of the river just by this spot, the restaurant said it was fine. Wouldn’t recommend it at the weekend as the restaurant played music till about 1am. However, without that it would be a great spot. Toilets, showers and water in the restaurant available and friendly staff.
