Best mechanic place ! | Mechanic and Parts

Damaged struts which hold water tank on our Roadtrek in place on 2 high topes in front of Leys. Mid Saturday we headed to mechanic hoping to get appointment for Monday but chap telephoned Delphino who arrived within 5 minutes and spent 2 1/2 hours repairing our problem. Highly recommended. Does not look like one's typical mechanic's site but as stated, recommended when in a jam as they certainly helped us out

uhmm,, things didn't go so well at nino's, I'm sad to say. I had a motor mount bushing that needed replacing, and the expansion joint on my exhaust. I also brought along gaskets for the valve covers, and was happy to be replacing these while we waited for the motor mount parts. we end up waiting two and a half days for the parts before I found out that there was no proper order in place. in the meantime do you know announce that he had completed the valve gasket job., only for me to find that he had done the front which is simple and easy, while the back had NOT been done. nino told me that it didn't need doing, that there is no leakage in the rear, but on inspection that clearly is not the case. I'm kind of thankful that there was a delay on the motor mount bushing, cuz that job is more involved. Unfortunately, I'd lost my trust with Nino by then.
... don't get me wrong. Nino is a great fellow. he says he doesn't understand english, but then after not too long it became clear that he actually understands and converses at a pretty high level. he shared some pork tacos, of which he raised and cured the pigs himself. That was sweet.
... I would go back to Nino, with a simpler, well defined job, but yeah my trust is short at this point. and I really didn't like, after paying up front for all the parts and a quarter of the labor at the beginning, he was then asking for more money before much of anything had been done.
... locals on Facebook recommend Fido's out on the highway a bit south of town. they seem like a well-organized shop, with good equipment, so they don't give a fixed price for the motor mount job, I'll see how it goes.

Had them change my oil based on the reviews. I brought my own oil and filter and they got to it right away. 200 pesos.

Delfino and his son are amazing! We bought a side awning in Los Angeles and were missing a mounting kit specific to our pop-up roof. After reading the reviews here we decided to give a try with them. We explained our needs, showed them the awning mounting instruction and asked them how we wanted it. They did a good job, had to work on a couple of adjustments on the way, but now our van has its side awning!

This place is excellent! I need led someone to grind off the tabs on my seat tracks in my van. He did the job and then when the seat got stuck (because I neglected to to take out some small plastic bearings) he spent an hour helping me fix the problem. Super friendly and very very affordable

delphino phone number 613 100 4988. This guy is just awesome! The place is called Taller Mecanico Nino’s. it is a random place at the corner of Luis Donaldo Colosio and Ley Fédéral Del Trabajo. I met this guy through asking a local that was washing a car beside us if he knew a good mecanico. he brang him to us and lowe went with him to this place. We got our parts at a store just beside here. It was just the gas filter with the connections and the pipes for 70 pesos. We have him 500 pesos to do the job. He also checked our motor belt and little stuff here and there. Super nice guy, super trustable.
