Description

Punta del Diablo End Of Road Boon Dock. We found the campground in the area closed when we arrived in June and the beach parking lot spot seemed more exposed to both wind and being seen from all around, so found this more remote spot. For sale signs around the lots nearby indicate potential development area so may not continue to be secluded for long, but quiet and more hidden for the time being.

Update 11/2022: Still secluded. Just some ravers that came by. The road is a bit sandy so watch out in case of rain.

Amazing spot! We stayed here for Semana Santa and it was perfect! The town was packed, but still a really chill, quiet vibe. There was a car guard during the day, so we felt safe leaving it with him. Lots of families and fishermen walking past. A few stargazers at night, but nothing ominous. Great beginner surf beach, nice short walk to town. No fires allowed. Come in on the road closer to the beach and it’s not as narrow as the Google route. A+!

Great spot! Easy to access as well. Bit narrow but no problem. We came here after a rainy day. No problems. Its not sand its like little stones. (Gravel). We slept alone here. Saw nowbody. Left the table and chairs outside.

20min over the beach to the town. Amazing beachwalk, very calm. Not much in the city. I think its more when its summer.

Tiny waves so good for beginners. There is a surfschool so possible to rent a board i think

what a great place! it's beautiful and secluded and you can park on the bluff with a 270* view of the ocean. about a 10 minute walk into town. it rained for 30 hours straight and no one bothered us. we saw a pod of roughly a dozen dolphins. keep in mind that the fence immediately to the north, even though it's blown over, is the border to the national park.

Wow, beautiful quiet spot on top of a dune with a little bit of grass. If you want to stay on the top you can be level, bit it takes some manouvering. The views are beautiful, the water had a very nice temperature for swimming (March). No need for 4x4.

We slept one night here, Saturday to Sunday. very quiet night. But at 9:30 in the morning we had 4 cars with a DJ drinking cocktails. Nice people, but noisy ones.

we passed a quiet night here, nice view. you can walk on the beach to the village.

I was here and it is closed with wiring on the sides. I think it is bad for tent camping with my motorbike, and may be good for camper. The place is quiet.

Great place behind the dunes. We were standing in front of the dunes, where locals told us we can't park on the dunes. Along the path on the left though, we did not have any problems.

We came after dark and stayed a night without problems. Few people passing by in the morning, all very friendly. Not a lot of space to level out, sort sand left and right from the track. But beautiful view!

Nice ocean views from here, can camp amongst the dunes on firm roads, or if feeling more adventurous you can take the soft sand track down to the beach.
