Great little campground in fort Casey state historical park. Right next to the ferry.
If coming in the park after closing it will look like the park is closed. Only half the gate is closed so you can drive in to the park and back to the campsite.
There are toilets and showers! Beautiful look over the sound.
Showers are $0.50 for 3 minutes.
Offseason price for a basic camp spot was $20.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Nice campsite, we paid $ 25 without service. We couldn't get on the ferry because of an storm, great place to sit and watch the storm. didn't use the facilities, so no comment.
Had good ATT WiFi service.
Clean hot showers for 2 quarters for 3 mins. Sign says you need to pay a day access fee but you can come early in the morning and just slip right by the registration booth. Electricity in the bathroom as well. Two bars of Verizon
Report Check-InBasic campsites are now 25 dollars a night. Checkout is at 1pm. The campsites were packed when I came in at 9pm. I got one of the last spots. Everyone is super nice. Bathrooms are clean. And I’m not sure if this is regular but a fighter jet is doing laps around the channel. It’s quite loud but cool to watch. It’s still making rounds and it’s almost 10pm
Report Check-InNice. Arrived off-season w/o a res and there were secession non-hookup spots available. Clean, beautiful views, easy access to state park.
Report Check-InIt was still like all the previous check-ins say it is. Off season rates $20 without power & $30 with.
Great place!
This camp isn't so great in peak season. Reservation only, but I got an unreserved spot when I came in for 1 night. $32 for a basic spot, no privacy from neighbors, the ferry is loud and so are neighbors. Bathrooms and showers are phenomenal, though, great views and easy access to Fort Casey to get my Ebey's Landing stamp at the gift shop. So I got what I wanted. It's just kind of crowded and that's not my jam.
Peak season is May 15 to Sep 15, $32 for basic spots, $37 for other basic spots, $45 for partial utilities.
They have recycling for bottles and cans, as well as $3 ice, which is pretty cool tbh.
Report Check-In$20 with no power but open, not too many people. We encountered only the nicest of campers, really friendly environment. Walkable to the beach and the old fort. Really clean bathrooms. Fire pits and picnic tables at all sites.
Report Check-InThis is a great camping spot overlooking the sound! Here on a Sunday offseason and pretty empty. One of cleanest restrooms I have ever been and showers are $0.50 for 3 minutes. Swerved at the gate just like the OP mentioned as we got to camping after dusk.
